Scott is a Journalist & Producer on BBC Breakfast and BBC News at One. Within this role, Scott is responsible for producing packages working with correspondents, securing guests for the programme & producing detailed briefs for presenters.

Prior to rejoining the BBC in July 2023, Scott was an Assistant Producer on STV's Scotland Tonight - Scotland's most watched current affairs programme. Scott secured a number of exclusive interviews with notable figures in his time at STV News, and in November 2022, Scott produced his first documentary, looking into the American fugitive "Nicholas Rossi" who was found in Glasgow, claiming to be "Arthur Knight".

While at STV, Scott covered a number of key Scottish political events, and regularly produced interviews with politicians & the programme's weekly political panel.
Scott has previously worked as a Researcher on BBC Radio Scotland's Mornings programmes, an Assistant Producer on BBC Radio Ulster's Sunday with Steven Rainey programme & Researcher on BBC Radio Scotland's Debate Night Extra.

Scott is a former Futures Chair of RTS NI, during his time in the RTS NI committee he produced a number of workshops, interviews & two RTS NI Student Awards ceremonies.
